A summary of the story: Geronimo was on his way to visit his aunt Roberta when he got trapped in the fog and the only thing he could see is a castle. It had statues of cats and when he entered he saw portriates of canny cats – the worst enemy of mice. They had a big fight in the last few years and the last canny cat’s paw was sliced. Geronimo was really scared because he saw a skeleton of a mouse in the kitchen. When he went to the library he found books of how to cook rats and mice. Then his sister called Thea Stilton said he saw a ghost first he saw the canny cat that had her paw cut out and then mummy cat. After he saw a witch cat and then a vampire cat. Then at the end of the book he noticed that someone was playing tricks on them and they were the last two canny cats in the generation and they turned the house into a mueseum.
Your favourite character of the story: Geromino Stilton is my favorite charachter because he is a funny mouse.
Favourite part of the story: My favorite part of the story is when they make friends with the Canny Cats.
Least favourite character: Trap Stilton is my least favorite charachter beacouse he scares Geromino.

A summary of the story: One day there was a little bear and a big bear.They always explored in the woods.The little bear liked jumping on a stone to stone.And the small bear felt in a stream instead of jumping on the stones.
Your favourite character of the story: My favourite character was the big bear.The big bear took care of the little bear.When the little bear felt into the stream,the big bear went to pull him up.And the big bear bear took him at home to sleep.
Favourite part of the story: What I liked most in the story were the bears.They always took care of each other and lived happily ever after.
Other comments: The story was a delightful story and I wore a smile on my face when I read it.

He asked his mum to have a jumble sale where he could sell lots of stuff including his brother Perfect Peter. Then his mum told Horrid Henry that he will get him back. He gets him back for €1 and gets all of Perfect Peter‘s live savings. In the book there are 3 other stories.
Your favourite character of the story: My favorite character is Horrid Henry because he is a trouble maker.
Your least favourite character of the story: My least favorite character is Peter Perfect beacouse he always ruins his brother’s plans.
Favourite part of the story: My favorite part of the story is when Peter is sold.

A summary of the story: Once there was a king who had seven charming daughters.The youngest was the most delightful than the rest.One day she was playing with her golden ball when suddenly the ball dropped into the pool.She was very upset.A frog asked her in a croacked voice what had happened.The frog brought her the golden ball while she promised him that she was going to love him,let him eat from her plate and sleep in her bed.After that she was sad that she had promised the frog those things.Her father told her that it is not fair for that brave frog.So she accepted their promise.At the end the frog turned into a handsome prince.The prince told her that he had turned to a frog by an evil witch and only a princess could break the spell.They were married and lived very happy.
Your favourite character of the story: The frog because he was a helpful character.
Your favourite part of the story: When the prince told the princess the story about his life,and how he turned to a frog by that evil witch.
Your least favourite part of the story: When the frog got on the table and wanted to eat from her dish,something which I dislike.
Other comments: It is a good story and we can learnfrom it.When we make promises we can could be sure to keep them.

A summary of the story: Team – X involving Max, Cat , Ant and Tiger from team ; NICE; and they had the help of Dani Day.Team – X were a group who beat Doctor X, an evil scientist, who wanted to take over the world.But before he was defeated he gave plans to another evil scientist so that if he is defeated he wouldn’t lose progress.The new evil scientist made what was in plan he was taking lots of creatures away from their habitats taking them to his lab.It was up to Team – X to save the world from the evil scientist. Team-x went on a special air craft and used a special watch to free the animals. At the end Team X threw the evil scientist in prison.
Your favourite character of the story: My favorite character is Tiger becouse she is like the leader of Team-X.
Your least favourite character of the story: My least favorite character is the Scientist because he is evil.
Your favourite part of the story: My favorite part of the story is when Team –X saved the world.
New words learnt from the story: I learnt that shrinking means getting smaller.

A summary of the story: 1. This book was written by Hilda Young and illustrated by Susan Aspey. It was about animals.2. Before they got in the zoo their father warned them that some animals are wild. Sally said to Mr.Keeper if she could climb onto an elephant. He signaled the elephant to get on his knee for her to climb and she and she chuckled because she felt like a princess.

3. Then they walked and saw the lions and Sally and Peter remembered that everyone said that the lion is the king of the zoo. Their babies called cubs.

4. Near the lion’s cage there was the tiger’s cage. They were proud and one of them looked at the children. They cried that the tigers had golden eyes and Peter saw a lion and his mouth was open and he said that he was not going to be his dentist.
5. After Sally, Peter and their parents got around the big round pool to see the polar bears. The bears lived in the pool and a man gave them fish to eat.

6. A little further away a group of monkeys were munching the bananas whilst the chimpanzees made a party with saucers, a teapot and sandwiches. Sally thought that the chimpanzees made a party with peanut better.

7. As they walked on they saw the kangaroos and one of them had a baby named Joey and another one was jumping from one place to another.

8. Suddenly all the family heard the noise and their father told them that the noise was coming from the bird’s house. He told them that that the parrots are very noisy.

9. Inside the Bird’s House as well as the parrots there were small brightly-coloured humming birds.

10. They continued to walk and found a strange object and their mother said that it looked like Nooh’s Ark.

11. Only children got in and Sally wanted to find a white fluffy rabbit and Peter wanted to find a cheeky chipmunk eating grains.

A summary of the story: Simba the lion cub was the new prince of Pride Land. He grew up with his mother and father King Mufasa. Uncle Scar was wicked and sometimes put Simba and his friend Nala into danger. One day Scar killed Mufasa by throwing him from a high cliff. When his father died, Simba ran far away. He made friends with Timon and Pumba who looked after him. The story ended when Simba grew up, fought Scar and became the King of Pride Lands.

A summary of the story: One day Postman Pat went to give some letters to Ms Hubbard. Ms Hubbard was knitting and Jess the cat thought that the knitting was a mouse. The cat jumped on the wool and during the fight it thought that it was a woolly monster. The cat was scared and ran away. The wool got tangled around his legs and so followed the cat. Pat, Ms Hubbard and other people and children tried to catch the cat. Finally Ms Pottage cut off the piece of wool that was around Jess’s leg. The wool was a mess and Ms Hubbard was very cross. Ms Pottage had some wool that she never used and gave it to Ms Hubbard. Now Ms Hubbard was pleased.

A summary of the story: In the story there was a family who went for a week in Tale’s town. This town was filled with smells of smoke. When they arrived, the boy began to meet many girls. For him it was strange, because he never saw a boy in that town. At last he met with an old man and they became friends. The old man’s name was Owen. Owen took the boy to show him a castle. In that castle the boy saw a real dragon.
Your least favourite part of the story: What I disliked in the story was when the boy burned his hand when he fought against the dragon.
Your favourite character of the story: My favourite character in the story was that boy. The boy was very brave. Once he went to meet Owen in the castle and instead he found the dragon. He was afraid. Then he found a book near the dragon. That book said that if he wanted the dragon to die, the boy had to make the dragon see its own face.
Your favourite part of the story: What I liked in the story was when the boy began to find with the dragon.

A summary of the story: In this story there was a kangaroo named Norma Jean. My favourite character was the kangaroo because she`s always liked jumping. Her teacher was angry with her because she behaved badly. Even her friends did not play anymore with Norma. She made them crazy and they began to call her ‘jumping bean’. Now Norma began not to jump anymore because she did not want that her friends to call her like that.
Your least favourite part of the story: What I disliked in the story were the children because they always called her ‘Norma jumping bean’.
Your favourite part of the story: What I liked in the story was the contest at school. The teacher wanted one of her student to be in the jumping contests. Everbody in class shouted to Norma Jean because she was the best jumper in school. Norma won a blue ribbon for the champion jumping.

A summary of the story: Once Alice was listening to a story from her older sister. Suddenly Alice saw a hare running and she went running after it. Alice fell into a big hole and she came into a corridor with locked doors. On a table she found a key and tried to open the doors. She found a very small door and opened it with this key. From that door she came out in a huge garden. Alice found a bottle of water which said ‘drink me’. When she drank the water she became so small.She found again a biscuit with a label on it which said ‘eat me’. She ate it and grew back to her size again. Alice met with the hare again and he told her to go to the queen of hearts. The queen of hearts did not want Alice to stay with them.
Your least favourite part of the story: What I dislike in the story was the hare. Alice went after the hare and she fell down the hole.
Your favourite character in the story: My favourite character in the story was Alice. When Alice found herself into the hole, she was very a brave girl.

Summary of the Story: The characters in this story are two dolphins called Minnie and Max and a sea monster called Salty. One day Minnie got into trouble when she chased a fishing boat and got caught in its net. Salty tried to rescue her but he got trapped too, together with hundreds of fish. The fishermen sold Minnie and Salty to the zoo but they were very sad here. One day some workmen came to repair their pool and Salty helped Minnie to escape. Minnie and Salty went back into the sea with Max and here they were happy.

A summary of the story: Once upon a time there was an old man named who was called Ali Baba. His work was so hard because he was a woodcutter. Once Ali Baba saw a band of thieves. These thieves went to a cave. Ali Baba heard the chief thief saying “Open Sesame” to the door’s cave. The thieves went in and found a lot of money. When the thieves went away, Ali baba went into the cave too. He found plenty of money and gold. He had some money and took it home. Ali baba’s wife was so happy when she saw the money because they were so poor. Ali baba told his brother about the money. Ali baba’s brother decided to go to into the cave too but he forgot the magic words.
Your least favourite part of the story: What I disliked in the story were the forty thieves. The band of thieves punished Ali Baba’s brother and he died.
Other comments: I give 5 stars to this book because it keeps me on tenterhooks till the end.

Summary of the Story: Long ago in China there was an Emperor who lived in a beautiful golden palace. In a forest nearby lived a plain little bird called the Nightingale. It sang beautifully. One day an explorer said that the most wonderful thing in all China is the song of the Nightingale. When the Emperor heard this he wanted to see the Nightingale. The bird was taken to the palace. The Emperor liked the Nightingale’s song and asked it to stay at his palace. One day a merchant gave the Emperor a Nightingale made of gold. The Emperor sent the plain Nightingale away. A year later the golden Nightingale broke down and could not sing anymore. The Emperor fell very ill and the plain Nightingale went to sing for him. The Emperor felt better.

A summary of the story: Once upon a time there was a man named Mr. Puff. He lived in a tall blue house. Mr.Puff was an inventor. He invented a lot of things. Once he invented a robot. Next door of Mr. Puff lived a boy named Sam. Once Sam went to his house and Puff showed him four eggs. The eggs were going to hatch and outside came four baby dinosaurs. Mr.Puff invented a ruler to measure the size of the dinosaurs. He had a machine with which he shrank and got bigger the dinosaurs. He shrank all the three dinosaurs but he could not find the last dinosour. Mr.Puff`s cat chased the dinosaur. Mr.Puff told Sam to have one dinosaur as a puppy pet.
Your favourite part of the story: What I liked most in the story was Mr.Puff`s cat because it saved Sam and Mr.Puff from the dinosaur. What I liked most in the story too was Sam because he preferred dinosaur`s book instead of a real dinasaur.

Summary of the Story: One day a tailor saw some flies buzzing around his lunch. He was angry and killed seven flies with just one blow. He was very proud and wanted to tell everyone about what he did. So he sewed a belt and put these words on it ‘Seven with one blow’. Later he met a wicked giant. The giant wanted to test the strength of the tailor. But the tailor was clever and gave the giant to the King’s soldiers. The King was very pleased and gave the tailor a huge bag of gold and a new job in his castle. The tailor was happy.

A summary of the story: Once upon a time there was a king and a queen. They were always very sad. They did not have a baby but after many years they had a baby daughter. The king made a feast for his daughter. He forgot to invite the wicked witch. When she heard about the feast she made a wicked plan for the baby.One day when the princess grew up she found a staircase that she had never seen before and climbed it. She found a door and when she opened it she met a wicked witch. She never saw a spinning wheel before and the witch told her to touch the spinning wheel. She pricked her finger and in a second the princess fell asleep.
Your favourite part of the story: What I like in the story were the six fairies because they wanted that when the girl grew up she would be a clever girl. What I like most in the story too was the prince because he saved the princess with a kiss. The prince and the princess got married and they lived happily ever after.

Your favourite character: What I like most in the story was Elisa, the king’s daughter. She made everything to help her brothers.
Your least favourite character: What I dislike in the story was the queen. The queen was not kind at all to the children. She wanted to change the king’s sons into ugly birds.

Summary of the Story: Rip Van Winkle was a lazy man who liked to go to the woods with his dog named Wolf. One day they went to the woods and on top of a mountain they met some old dwarfs. The dwarfs were playing bowling. When the ball hit the nine pins it made a sound like thunder. Later Rip was tired, went to sleep and slept for twenty years! When he went back to his village, the people did not recognize him because he was an old man.

A summary of the story: Gepetto was a lonely man. He had no money and children. Gepetto was a wood cutter. He wanted to make a child of wood and named him Pinocchio.
Your favourite character: What I like most in the story was Gepetto. He began to teach Pinocchio a lot of things that he did not know. He taught him how to speak and how to spell.
Your least favourite character: What I did not like in the story was Pinocchio because he lied too much. His nose always grew with every lie.

Your least favourite character: What I did not like in the story was the queen because she was very jealous of snow white and wanted to kill her.

Summary: This book has four nice Animal tales: Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Puss in Boots and Bambi. Although I have already read these fairy tales in other books for several times, I still enjoyed reading them again in this book.
Favourite Character: Of all these four stories I read, I choose Bambi as my favorite character because it had much ups and downs in its life. At the end of the story Bambi became the great prince of the forest.
My least favourite part: I didn`t like the part in the story of Little Red Riding Hood when the little innocent girl was tricked by the wolf.
My favourite part: This time I choose Puss in Boots. My favorite part is when the Marquis of Carabas and his bride get married.
Other comments: This book has adventurous and colourful fairy tales. I give it 5 stars.

Your favourite character: What I like most in the story was the happy prince because from above the sky he began to see a lot of people that they were poor and without food. He wanted to give his statue to the poor people to sell it. The people became rich and they lived happily ever after.
How many stars would you give to this book? I give 5 stars to this book because the prince is a very kind hearted man and it is very nice story.

Your favourite character: My favourite character in the story was Harry because he was a kind hearted boy with all the children. In the party there was a little girl that her balloon burst and Harry gave her his balloon.And another boy did not have a present and Harry gave him his present.
Other Comments: From the story I learned that we should be a kind hearted children like Harry.

A summary of the story: One day there was a dog named Tinker. It liked to tease all the hens especially one hen named Cluck.The hens when seeing the dog scampered off in fright. Cluck went into a field and met with a horse named Clopper. Cluck and Clopper bacame good friends and helped each other.
Favourite character of the story: I liked Clopper most because his tail was cut short and it was different from the others. What I like most too was Cluck the hen because she was kind with the horse even though she was a small animal.
Other comments: I give the book 5 stars because it is a very nice tale.

Least favourite part of the story: What I did not like in the story was when the island, where Sindbad and his friends lived, shook and drowned in a twinkle of an eye.
Best part of the story: I liked most when Sindbad found many diamonds and become a rich man.
How many stars would you give to this story? I give the story 5 stars because it was interesting and an adventurous story.

A summary of the story: Once there were the famous five: Timmy the dog, Anne, Lucas, George and Julian. The book starts with the four children wanting to go on an adventure. They had a tea party with their neighbour Mrs.Layman. She tells them they can borrow her cottage for a few weeks and they accepted.When they arrived they found the door open and there was a boy named Wilfrid. He wanted them all out but when he saw the dog he smiled because he loved animals. He told them they could stay if they let Timmy to stay. So they made a deal.They went swimming and they saw an island. They all asked Wilfred about the island. He took them to meet a person. This person was once a guardian of the island. He told them the story of the island. He told them not to go there because the guards were armed with guns. He told them that the people belive that on the island there were some GOLDEN STATUES.When they were swimming they borrowed a boat for a week for the price of 3 pounds. They were sailing and a big wave dragged them on the island. They were scared because of the guards with guns. They went in to explore until the storm was over. Timmy was thirsty. They saw a well. George went down the well to bring the bucket that had fallen in the well. When he was coming up he noticed a small door. He put the bucket up and went to see what’s behind the small door. When he opened the door he found golden statues. It was part of what the man told them about. Then they saw a tunnel with 6 peaple coming out with more golden statues and other stuff but the five thought that they were the guards and told them they were sorry and told them how they ended there.The guards started to tie them. The five realised they were thieves and Anne had a pocket knive with which she freed them. Timmy bit a thief and Julian hit another one whit a small table. The rest fled away. Soon the police arrived on a boat and again THE FAMOUS FIVE SAVED THE DAY.

Best part of the story: This is when Susie and Sam find their mum after they get lost in the park.

A summary of the story: Once in the Roman Empire there was Cassius Ceramix who wanted to take over the world he wanted to start from the town of Gauls that were powerful because they had the magic potion that could give them super human strength only Getafix from Gauls could make it and the Romans wanted it. The Romans planned to hit Getafix and get him to forget the secret of the magic potion. It worked Getafix forgot the secret Obelix and Asterix found him in the forest while they were hunting wild boars to eat he was laying on the grounds. Then Julius Ceasar ordered a fight between the two chiefs. The chief of Gauls was really worried because he didn’t have powers and because the loser will be under control of the winner. Getafix was getting his senses back but the fight was started. The chief of Gouls was running in thec ourt then the magic potion was ready. In the half time the chief of Gauls drank it and he WON.
