Celebrating an Eco-Christmas at School

It’s that time of the year when the air is buzzing with activity.   We all start decorating our houses with decorations of all sorts and kind.   Our school is no exception.   All classes from kinder up to Year 6 decorate their classes to symbolise the birth of Jesus and to celebrate the festive season.   Our corridors are transformed into exhibition places for the Cribs and Grottas made by our pupils.

This year, the Eko-Skola committee is encouraging our staff and pupils to make decorations, cribs and grottas out of recycled material.   We also introduced the initiative of having one big eco-christmas card in each class.  The eco-christmas cards are made out of a collage of old and used christmas cards.  Pupils are encouraged to send their best wishes to their class mates, LSAs and class teachers by signing their names on the eco-christmas card.
